Senior Management Consultant to the Energy Industry 1989-Present
Provided management and problem solving expertise to the following companies on a long-term contract basis to achieve specific objectives.
Management Consultant. Assisted in the re-development of the Remboue oil field in Gabon, West Africa and developed the marine transportation system to deliver daily production by barge, coastal tanker and offshore tanker to the market. This is an ongoing project to include environmental review and procedures..
Chauvco Resources Ltd. (Calgary / Gabon) 1995- 1998
Operations Manager. Responsible for supervising the construction of Chauvco’s early production facility at Remboue and the daily operations since it went on line in August of 1997. This is approximately a $20,000,000 facility.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining two Chauvco drilling programs with Schlumberger’s Integrated Project Management group in Gabon. This resulted in 2 vertical wells and 11 horizontal wells. An approximate total of $32,000,000.
Responsible for the marine transportation of the Remboue production by river tanker originally to an offshore storage tanker and subsequently to a coastal pumping station.
Organized exploration, operation, logistic, economic and political reviews of Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo, Mozambique and Gabon. Concluded with successful initialing of a Production Sharing Contract in Gabon and a potential contract standing by in Nigeria.
Nicotes Services Limited (Nigeria) 1993-1995
Base Coordinator (General Manager), Warri. Overall management of the Nicotes Transit and Supply Bases in Warri supplying marine services to the oil industry of Nigeria. This including operations, marketing, equipment, maintenance, finance, administration and personnel
Freeport Indonesia PT (Indonesia) 1992-1993
General Superintendent (General Manager) of the Port of Amamapare. Responsible for the export of ore as well as total imports for the fourth largest copper/gold mine in the world. Exported over 1,000,000 tons of copper concentrate per year and imported over 400,000 tons of general cargo and food.
Harris Energy/Harris International (Texas) 1990-1992
General Manager South Texas and International Operations. Established Harris International in Columbia and totally controlled the project including operations, logistics and transportation.
Sandia Oil and Gas (Texas) 1989-1990
Exploration Manager responsible for supervising the content and quality of production geology, drilling prospects, operations, acreage acquisition and training of junior geologists.

Geology Manager to Vice President responsible for the total geological development of the company's various interests. Developed many fields in South Texas and West Texas. Designed field development programs through the integration of seismic, geology and drilling to most effectively and economically produce the recoverable reserves.
Tesoro Petroleum (Texas, Indonesia, Bolivia)
Production Geologist to Chief Geologist responsible for all production geology and operations in the Sanga Sanga field in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Responsible for the production geology and operations of the La Vertiente field in Bolivia. Increased the production from 100 BOPD to 11,000 BOPD in Indonesia and developed over 2 TCF of gas in Bolivia.
