Don Prior graduated from the Canadian Military college, HMCS Venture, and subsequently spent five years at sea. During the years in the navy  he took specialty courses in
  • leadership
  • navigation
  • extensive diving qualifications
  • obtained a watchkeeping certificate which is equivalent to a Masters Ticket (Ocean going)

 

Don Prior graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in geology and minors in computer science and oceanography.

  • Ten years on the Canadian Ski Patrol has given him a serious regard for personnel safety. He has not had a lost time accident on a major project under his supervision.
